KOÇ UNIVERSITY
Dear students,
We are currently looking for an intern to join the International Community Services Office (ICO) at the Office of International Programs of Koç University. ICO facilitates the adaptation processes of Koç University’s international community members (administrative and academic staff and their families; degree-seeking international students, incoming exchange students, researchers and fellows and international guests) by providing a variety of services, such as immigration advising (visa and residence permit), pre/post arrival support on legal and social procedures, cultural and social integration programs to enhance multicultural awareness.
The internship dates are to be negotiated with successful applicants and must be 4 months minimum starting from September 2024. However, the applications of the participants whose internship dates are longer will be prioritized.
The internship is only for those who come through the Erasmus+ internship mobility from their home universities. There will not be any financial compensation for this position. Please consult the International Office at your university to see if you are eligible for the mobility.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist the ICO Team with all matters pertaining to international students, academicians, researchers at KU,
• Support the organization of events like Turkish Coffee Hour and International Week,
• Collaborate with all offices including offices of the Registrar and International Student Recruitment Team on the development of services for international students,
• Respond to incoming inquiries through email,
• Provide logistic support for organizing and managing the office space,
• Create social media content for the ICO accounts.
