Named in honor of Singapore's founding prime minister, the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC) empowers next-gen innovators from universities worldwide to tackle critical global challenges. In 2023, they attracted over 1,000 applications from 77 countries and awarded over $2.5 million in prizes.
This year, their focus is on Urban Solutions & Sustainability (USS), with a spotlight on climate tech, public health, and the use of AI in USS.
The top 50 finalist teams will be flown into Singapore for a week-long immersion festival. In addition to the Category Finals and Grand Finals happening during the Grand Finals Week, finalists will gain maximum exposure to VCs, corporates, government agencies, successful innovators, and youths in Singapore.
50 finalists for the 12th LKYGBPC can also look forward to the following:
- $2.5M in Prizes (including Indorama Future of Sustainable Materials Award and Zhang Fan Global AI Initiative Award)
- Complimentary flight and accommodation to Singapore during the week of F1 night race, from 29th September 2025 to 2nd October 2025
- Mentorship from C-suite executives from publicly listed companies, senior venture capitalists, Heads of Business Families and Angel Investors from the region
- Next Gen Mixer Night to forge lasting friendships and connections with the world’s up and coming young entrepreneurs
