Dear all, at the bottom of your Readings you can find attached the syllabus that in its name contains StudPresentations. This is the same updated syllabous for the course but with the names of those registred for presentations so all of you can see what did you get and what is still available from the syllabus regarding the films for your presentations. However, this those not mean that all the films not taken are absolutely avialable as I mentioned to you that we can have about 3 film presentations per class. So, those of you not applied yet can still apply for some films next week, as it is relatively empty, or you can apply for some of your choice that are still available in general. Please do it asap so we can plan our semester. In the Reading material slot all of you can also find readings for our next two meetings. Thank you and have a great sunny weekend! Hrvoje Cvijanović

Syllabus and your presentations

Dear students, one more time, welcome to the course. First of all, I have uploaded an updated syllabus. There are some minor changes regarding the readings, but more important is that due to the decision made by our dean, there will not be lectures on December 23rd after 12:00, thus no our class. Since I did not want to cut this I decided to cut the midterm exam. So, I moved the dates in the syllabus. Instead of the midterm we will only have the final exam at the end covering all the material but also the final exam will be 50% of your grade. I can explain all during the class if necessary. Also, I mentioned to you that you apply for your class presentation by the end of the weekend but I got only few proposlals. Based on all that I got by now I am sharing presenters and the movies taken so the rest of you will know what is left.

Ritas Nenartenas - Idiocracy; Inka Ćaleta - Parasite; Paula Leng - All Quiet on the Western Front; Ugnė Beišytė - Clockwork Orange; Andrea Jurinović - Melancholia; Anamari Mešnjak - Frankenstein; Paola Tutek - Her; Tom Hemboldt - Blade Runner; Mewes Klatte - Fight Club; Nele Hinrichs - Don't look up; Emila Freidel - Joker; Leonarda Kudelić - Nightcrawler.
